The HBANWMI and Northwest Michigan Skilled Trades Foundation are collaborating with members, educators, and organizations to tackle the construction labor shortage and build a skilled workforce. Engaging policymakers and educators is key to addressing labor shortages and misconceptions. HBANWMI members can support community growth while guiding students toward career opportunities. With vocational programs removed, students miss out on developing interests in trade skills for construction careers. The HBANWMI focuses on promoting construction-related education programs in the community.
